He has put everything learned in auto
After graduating high school Matthew Reinke didn’t know what to do with his life.“My senior year I was selected for the National Honors Society for [link widoczny dla zalogowanych]the automotive program. I received my Eagle Scout that same year and had a lot of things going,” Reinke said.“My mom told me if I have a passion for cars,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], do that. ‘It’s something you love doing. You might as well wake up every morning and go to a job you love doing then wake up and say you don’t want to go to work.’”
The automotive industry is something that Reinke loves and something he believes he can pursue a career in.And he is already making a splash. He was featured on the cover of the [link widoczny dla zalogowanych]popular automotive magazine "Tomorrow’s Technician."His cover was released back in November.“It didn’t set in (when I first saw the cover.) When I held it in my hand I thought ‘is that really me on a magazine,” Reinke said.
A week later Reinke received an e-mail that he and his 1999 custom Pontiac Grand Prix GT were put on the cover.“I got an email from them saying the enthusiasm and hard work put into my vehicle and because I’m a student in auto shop are the reasons they picked it,” Reinke said.He has [link widoczny dla zalogowanych]put everything learned in auto shop to good use. Everything in and on his car is new and customized.Reinke credits his parents and grandfather for his love of cars.
