PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (WUSA) -- In this season of giving, it appears that some people in Prince George's County are taking. Three young men wearing ski masks robbed and pistol-whipped a 12-year-old boy for his North Face jacket.([link widoczny dla zalogowanych]sale.net)
"It's my jacket," he said. "My mother paid for it. It's my jacket."
Now this stunned mother wants to warn other parents:
The boy's friend let the thugs steal his belongings. But he was reluctant.
"Right here, right here and right here," the boy said, pointing to three spots on his head.
"He had the gun in my face. He said 'give me your iPod, give me your jacket.' I said 'I ain't giving you my jacket,'" the boy said.
Even more shocking,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], her 12-year-old son had been pistol-whipped in the head for his North Face jacket.
"They hit him a couple of times with the gun. He has bruises on both sides of his eyes from the pistol that they had," said the victim's mother.
"He came running up to the doorway. Frantic. Saying 'I just got robbed. I just got robbed,'" said the boy's mother.
"Keep your kids close because I thank God that my son is still here today, that he was not shot and that's all that happened. That he's here to tell me so I can alert other parents," she said.

"I was ready to find out whoever did it. That's crazy. My little brother is only 12,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," said the victim's sister.
The attack happened around 5:45 in the evening along a path that cuts through a neighborhood playground. The suspects: three young men wearing ski masks. A female companion stood by and watched. The boy and his friend were outnumbered.
Added his mother, "It's not safe anymore. And it's Christmas so they're robbing for anything!"
