When he drove away, a sharp-eyed citizen called police. <br />Officers spotted the truck, a 2001 red Dodge, near Prince Albert's South Hill Mall but the driver refused to stop and drove off along Highway 11 toward Saskatoon.Near the town of Duck Lake the driver took the truck into the ditch, drove through a field onto a dirt road and then into a washed-out section of road where the truck got stuck in a metre of water. Police then conducted what they describe as a high-risk takedown. A suspect was arrested and the ATM was found in the back of the truck.The truck was later determined to have been stolen.James Chaisson, 21, faces a variety of charges including theft.
