Always ready to expose the vampire and enlisting the help of the community, he would carry his bag of wooden stakes and schedule a daytime rendezvous at the lair of death to vanquish the vermin while they slept!Then the geniuses in Hollywood went and made a sexy vampire with Frank Langella playing the “hero.” Since then, confusion has surrounded the vampire myth and leaving us wondering are these guys really Counts of Killing or are they just misunderstood?After Mr. Langella played Dracula, there have been many more movies made about the subject. Some are very good and others are just plain silly.Wesley Snipes (Blade) turned our vampire into Ninja Warrior Vampire. His sidekick in the movie was country singer Kris Kristofferson and Kristofferson’s character had developed a serum to suppress the vampire’s lust for blood.Of course everyone knows there is no cure, good grief! Blood and guts throughout the Snipes movie made it impossible for me to watch anyway.Countless vampire manifestations have been portrayed in movies over the years but few have stayed true to the Count Dracula persona with the exception of perhaps, Francis Ford Coppola’s “Bram Stoker’s Dracula.”Currently, we are left with teenaged vampires. <br />Buffy, where are you when we need you?As if teenagers did not have enough angst to overcome, now they must deal with a long line of vampirism within the family and with the exception of Van Helsing vanquishing <a href="http://www.hypnosis-secret-tips.com/" target="_blank" class="postlink">Hypnotize</a> a few of their ancestors, vampires live forever so that is a really long and straight line!The tortured, teenaged vampire is the latest incarnation.Our heroine of this new age saga can’t be hypnotized. She’s dark and morose, strong and independent and has the good vampires to protect her from the bad vampires.She does not want to vanquish them, she wants to become one of them! And the only character that comes close to the Van Helsing character is a friendly werewolf. That’s right, a werewolf.
