The Mystic Valley Regional Charter School recently held its annual 5th & 6th Grade Science Fair. All of the students in each grade competed and winners Meizitang were chosen from each grade and an overall winner. The winners of the “Einstein Award” for best overall project Meizitang were fifth graders Hannah DiGiovanni, Lauren Maher, and Karen Mortimer.The 5th grade awards went to Omar Alani, first place, Frederick Russell second and Ashley Sullivan third. Honorable Mention was given to Tama Coelin,LED Bulb Light, Jeffrey Mei and Kylie DiMaro. The 6th grade winners were first place Dante Goss & Alexandru Teodorescu, second place Emily Nguyen & Jesse Orton and third place Veronica Drahos & Talia Cutille. Honorable Mention Meizitang was given to Gabriella Gimas & Brooke Proto, Ashley Buggy & Kiara Awunti and Kassandra Julce & Gabrielle Farnkoff.Before we picked up our new puppy, I got a towel and made sure the scent of all our family members was on it. I took the towel to the breeder a week before we picked up Louie. He never whimpered or cried once when he came home with us.
